Introduction, connection time and skills stations (1 hour)

  • Overview of workshop objectives

  • Skills stations for airway management and IO insertion

Scenarios x 5 (3 hours)

  • Bespoke scenarios suited to the clinical area focused on the deteriorating paediatric patient
  • Up to 40minutes for each scenario and debrief
  • Last scenario longer to bring all teamwork concepts together

Conclusion and Q&A (15 minutes)

  • Focused conversation of skills learnt in the workshop
  • Open floor for questions and additional clarifications
  • Expert guidance and support
