Erin Carn-Bennett about simulation and has worked as a Simulation Nurse Educator for many years. She has over 15 years experience as a Emergency Department Nurse and has worked in multiple Nursing Leadership roles through her career in Paediatrics.

Erin completed a Clinical Master of Nursing in 2014 at Massey University and has also completed training in professional supervision and critical incident debriefing.

Erin is passionate about empowering the next generation of healthcare workers to be confident in clinical care through the vessel of healthcare simulation. Erin is comfortable working with individuals and teams to create a successful healthcare simulation experience to meet learning objectives centered around psychological safety of the learner. Erin is an experienced simulation debriefer in many different environments both clinical and non clinical. Erin is comfortable using and teaching how to use a number of different debrief modalities.
